"1979 Cutlass Cruiser station wagon"

A Vista Cruiser with the windows in the roof? The "rich" neighbors had one---we had a plain Jane '70 Chevy Kingswood (with a 300hp 350 big block) till my girlfriend totaled it while driving me on my paper route.

Nah, that was too much for my budget. Though I would have like to have the flip up seats in the very back. Going to and from shows though it was the perfect "stealth" vehicle. Cops weren't on the lookout for suburban family vehicles and we slipped by many a roadblock (one in particular was the net the State Troopers set up at a toll both on the Maine Turnpike heading up to Oxford Speedway). It wasn't called "The Mule" for nothing.
